OPEN New England Seminar: "What's this fuss about Clean Energy?"

September 9th, 2009, 6-9 pm Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, 9th Floor, One Cambridge Center, Cambridge, Ma 02142

"What's this fuss about Clean Energy?" Over the past few years we have been hearing about Clean Energy and Green Technologies. The noise level has heightened in the recent past with President Obama's references to new green jobs, allocations to this sector in the ARRA, as well as Governor Patrick's statements about Massachusetts' focus on green companies in the Bay State.

As it turns out, these terms represent way more than solar, wind and other sustainable energy generation. After one understands the whole eco-system of energy production and consumption, there is a tremendous spectrum of opportunities to play in this space. Imran Qidwai, entrepreneur and NECEC Clean Energy Fellow 2009 , will provide an overview of this vast topic and generate discussion for you to unlock new opportunities.
